Cristiano Ronaldo launches his first NFT collection just ahead of FIFA, the collection will have Super rare to normal NFTs to offer
The superstar and multiple record-holder footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is entering the crypto world. He is launching his first NFT collection with Binance, a global blockchain ecosystem, and crypto token infrastructure provider. The NFT collection will be available from November 18, with an exclusive multi-year partnership with Binance.
Launch of NFTs & its scope –
The launch of the NFTs is supported by a global marketing campaign featuring Ronaldo. The main aim of this complete activity is to give his fans an introduction to the Web3 world. All of this is planned just ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, starting from November 20.
The bidding prices will start at 10,000 BUSD for Super Super Rare and 1,700 BUSD for Super Rare. The rest 6,600 NFTs (600 R and 6,000 N) will be offered on Binance Launchpad, starting at 77 BUSD for the Normal rarity.
The 45 highest value CR7 NFTs (5 SSR and 40 SR) will be held for auction on the Binance NFT marketplace. The auction will remain open for 24 hours, with NFTs awarded to the highest bidder.

Binance believes that metaverse and blockchain are the future of the internet, as said by Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer He Yi.

The first Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collection will launch on November 18 and feature seven animated statues with four rarity levels, i.e. Super Super Rare (SSR), Super Rare (SR), Rare (R), and Normal (N). Each NFT statue will present Ronaldo in an iconic moment of his life. Starting from their career to the bicycle kicks in his childhood in Portugal.
